Solsonès · Catalan Pre-Pyrenees
THE LAND OF “MASÍAS”
Historically, Solsonès has been a land of masías, where each household had its own small cellar and wine was made for family and friends.
A quiet form of viticulture, woven into everyday life, far from the major wine-producing regions.
Our project was born from the desire to recover that spirit and restore value to a mountain viticulture deeply connected to the land.
THE CABALLERA MASÍA
Caballera is the masía that shelters our project and the land we cultivate.
It is more than a place, it is the origin of the way we make wine.
Like those who lived here centuries ago, we still embrace the uncertainty of the mountains as part of everyday life.
OUR TREASURE
➼ THE ORIGIN OF THE PROJECT
Planted in ancient mountain terraces, this vineyard marks the beginning of our journey as winegrowers. Altitude and climate shape grapes that ripen slowly, concentrated and full of character.
➼ VIGOROUS AND RESILIENT
Situated in an open and exposed environment, Caballera expresses the wildest side of the land. The vineyard learns to endure, while the wine gains freshness and intensity. Wind and hail shape its character and demand resilient viticulture.
➼ CONTINUING THE VITICULTURAL LEGACY
Located in the most protected and balanced area of the estate, Soldevila surrounds the masía of the same name. Here we have found old vine varieties untouched by phylloxera thanks to its remote location.
