A LONG JOURNEY
The story of Alma de Halcón does not begin with wine. It is the result of a deep connection with the land, the landscape, and the place where falcons soar and vines thrive.
ORIGINS
Our family’s roots are in Germany, specifically in Rheinhessen, one of the country’s most renowned wine regions.
There, our grandfather learned the craft of winemaking from his grandfather. Back then, it was a necessity; today, it is a choice born from passion.
THE FALCONS
Over time, falcons became part of our story.
Noble animals that require pure air, solitude, and altitude. Solsonès offers all of these conditions.
Here is where our falconry project, Roc Falcon, was born, deeply connected to this environment.
THE WINE
The falcons fell in love with this place.
And while observing them, a natural question arose:
if this environment is perfect for them,
why wouldn’t it be perfect for the vines as well?
ALMA DE HALCÓN
In 2012, we made our first wine for family and friends. They loved it. And something made us realize it was more than just an experiment.
In 2024, a new generation joined the project to nurture, refine, and share with the world what had remained quietly in the background until now.
We hope to share our wines and our story with those who know how to listen.
